Hello everybody,
I want to start building a true set-and-forget type of portfolio regarding the following scenario:
Time horizon of at least 20y from today, with about 200€ added every month. I would like to avoid US companies giving the insanity going on over there and given the continuous dollar devaluation. I prefer low risk to high risk but wonder if it is possible to find an ETF or so that might solidly deliver about 10% per annum on average (for compounding).
I am happy to „sacrifice“ a % or two for the low risk factor.
Note that I am a true newbie in this matter and want to put as little work as humanly possible into research and all - I simply lack both the time and expertise.
Do you have any recommendations? If so, can you also briefly explain why you recommend certain products? Thanks in advance!
PS: This is supposed to be an investment I won’t touch until I am getting close to my retirement, there will be no „random“ liquidation and in the worst scenario I am more than happy to add another 5 years to the horizon if necessary.
