Have a bit of money saved for the first time in my life and want to invest with ethics in mind

Young person looking to learn more about investing but it seems like every company I hear people investing in is either fueled by the AI bubble which is destroying the environment, builds weapons, or is abusing underpaid workers/literal slaves. I'd like to invest a couple hundred dollars into a few companies that are either actively benefiting the world (renewable energy, durable "buy it for life" business models), or are using their money and impact to benefit any part of the world. Lastly, I can't invest this money for longer than a year. Is it worth investing? How risky is it for such a short period of time?
