I haven’t owned any PayPal stock since selling at a loss several years ago.
That said, I like PayPal as a customer. I use the their credit card for online shopping to get 3% cash back rewards. I keep my savings on there, it’s one of the easier ways to put money in a HYSA without opening another account.
My sister and I send money to each other through PayPal regularly.
Right now if you keep a balance on PayPal, you can use their debit card for 5% cash back on rotating monthly categories like gas or restaurants.
They have a web plugin called Honey which helps get me coupons when shopping on the web.
And finally they have Venmo, which is basically a verb these days. I use Venmo every week.
I’m not sure if it’s a good stock but as a customer, I like the service and thinks it gives me good value.
