Market sentiment is everywhere.
Fear, greed, optimism, panic. You can feel it in headlines, social media, and price movements. Some people say sentiment matters a lot. Others say it is pure noise.
I am conflicted. Ignoring sentiment completely feels naive. Obsessing over it feels unhealthy.
Sometimes sentiment helps me understand why prices move away from fundamentals. Other times it just pushes me to overthink things that should be simple.
For those investing long-term, how do you treat sentiment? Do you track it at all, or do you try to block it out completely?
