I keep seeing people say a stock is overvalued or undervalued, but the way they decide seems very different.
Some look at ratios. Some compare past prices. Some rely on gut feeling. Others build detailed models that feel impossible to maintain over time.
I have tried many approaches. Over time, I realized I just need a simple framework that I can actually stick to. Something repeatable. Something that helps me avoid obvious mistakes.
When i have tried to apply more complex models in practice, I've found them hard to maintain consistently, which is why I keep coming back to simpler checks.
Still, I am not sure there is a perfect method.
How do you decide. Do you use a clear process, or is it more of a rough judgment call.
