Back in July 2025, Lockheed Martin CEO James D. Taiclet teased that Skunk Works was working on something he described as “magical.” It’s a highly classified aeronautics program he obviously can’t talk about, but he did say customers and allies are basically lined up and frothing at the mouth to buy it.
LMT has already sunk $1B+ into this thing and it’s still not fully operational. For a company their size, that’s not exactly existential, but big enough that they’ve since rewritten their internal playbook to avoid losses like this in the future. They’re also in the middle of restructuring the contract with the federal government.
Why would I buy the shares right up while everyone said they were trying to recoup losses? I’m deep into UFO lore, and the old campfire story is that LMT once tried to offload recovered alien tech to Bigelow Aerospace, only for the CIA to shut it down. This narrative has been echoed publicly by David Grusch and George Knapp during congressional hearings.
Even newer stories of a rumored crash retrieval incident have emerged where LMT and US forces showed up to the same site and began firing at each other.
You can even watch Close Encounters of the Third kind and see a LMT crate at the UFO landing site. If there was a defense contractor who would be close to cracking open a UFO it’s LMT.
Tin foil prediction: they reversed engineered a UFO and got it operational.
Most Boring: Mass Reduction device
Most exciting, but boring: cold fusion reactor
Either way, I bought LMT in August and I’m up 37%.
