As someone who is trying to stay up to date and use all technological resources to my advantage, I tried getting my dividend advice from AI. I asked this app, Perplexity "as a beginner investor with $10000 to spare into dividends name the top 5 stocks I should invest in" and it presented this allocation graph for the top stocks and how I should divide up my $10,000.
Asking the subreddit now, would you consider this research pretty standard and accurate or what other stocks would you throw into your portfolio? Curious as I am looking to get more serious into my finances in 2026. My current ideas are:
* $6,000–$7,000: broad dividend ETFs (e.g., one high‑dividend ETF, one dividend‑growth/“aristocrats” ETF).
* $3,000–$4,000: 3–5 individual stocks from the type above (e.g., KO, PEP, PG, O, and ATO/MDT), roughly equal‑weighted.
Looking for feedback on my research and picks and to see if others utilize AI in their finances.
