21M, this is my non-registered. I know I have way too many different small holdings. I did that when I first started, going to fix it soon
I have maxed my TFSA, RRSP, and FHSA every year, and now this year I have about 4k left to invest in RRSP room.
I am not currently working, and to max out rrsp this year, I have to liquidate an investment. I am 99% sure I should just liquidate BRK. I am holding too much of it, and since Buffett announced retirement its been trending up very slowly. it does suck to cash it when it is down, but if I can max out RRSP, pay less tax, and put it into something like XEQT its a good idea, right?
the 1.5% USD thing sucks as well, won't be buying USD stocks/ index anymore unless I really need to, learned my lesson.
Let me know whether or not it's a good idea to cash BRK or if I should take something else, open to suggestions!
