Dear Reddit ETFs Friends
In the last 15 years, every € I’ve earned has gone into paying off my house. I know this might not have been the smartest financial move in terms of opportunity cost, but hey, at least the house’s value has tripled during that time.
Now that it’s paid off, I’m 38 and wondering if I’m too old to start investing in ETFs for retirement.
Would I need to take on more risk than broad market beta fonds and chase higher returns (Crypto, factor portfolio or similar) to make up for lost time and secure my future retirement?
Looking for your thoughts and advice.
Many thanks!
Ray
