I just recently finished playing college football this past summer, and I have a bunch of teammates that I give advice to on investing. I tell most of them to stick to what’s been shown as the standard, like sticking with VOO and how we need to prioritize growth at our super young age with a long time horizon. Would it be bad advice to steer some of these guys into things that pay dividends and/or distributions if they have a solid base built already and have some extra money to start a small income sleeve?
