I use both Robinhood and Schwab, I figured I’d try Robinhood Strategies just to see how it behaves. What surprised me is that even after picking the highest risk tolerance and saying I was fine being aggressive, it still put me around 75% bonds, which feels strange for a small account that’s supposed to be more growth-oriented. I’ve seen at least one other person mention the same thing, so I’m curious if that’s just how the engine works based on things like account size or withdrawal settings.
For anyone who’s actually used it for a while, I’m wondering how it’s played out in real life like whether the returns have felt reasonable compared to the broader market, and how it handled recent pullbacks or choppy periods. And if you’ve also used something like Schwab Intelligent Portfolios, did you notice a real difference in how conservative or aggressive it felt over time?
Just trying to figure out if this heavy bond allocation is normal or if there’s something I should be tweaking.
