Hello,
I am turning 30 this year.
For the last 10 years Ive had 8% of my pay check going into a Roth 401k. My employer matches this up to 7% and contributes to a traditional. I started my career making $60k and currently make about $120k. Doing some reading it seems that I should switch my contributions to traditional at this point.
Currently my 401k balance is about $240k and split about 60-40 Roth/Traditional.
Also with this balance of Roth 401k should I invest in a Roth IRA? I currently make weekly investments of $400 into a investment account with 70/30 VTI/VXUS. I'm trying to have the ability to retire before 60. But don't want to squirrel away every cent and be over frugal.
Any advice appreciated, thank you!
