I’m 23 and have been contributing to my Roth IRA for 5 years and the goal is VOO and chill but I also allocate some room for individual picks. Right now I am 24% RKLB, 64% S&P (20% of that is RSP or equal weight S&P 500 ETF) and 12% VXUS.
I’m up 5x on RKLB and wondering if I should trim, but I really want to hold it forever. The positions around $15k now, I wouldn’t be sick if I lost it but it would definitely set me back. Considering it’s in a Roth, am I risking too much of my balance bc there’s a contribution limit, or is it better as gains are tax free?
