Hey I’ve been reading this site a lot, but have just been really confused of what to do with my money. Any advice. Apologies if these kind of posts are annoying, I know they happen a lot.
I’m 30 years old, single, in New York City.
I make 100,000 at a job in a dying industry.
My rent is 750 dollars (family spot, grew up here).
In my 401k (contributions: 12% 401k, 6% roth) I have 109,000 in a Blackrock 2060 target fund
I have 45k in a hysa at a rate of 3.4%
I have 102k in a CD at a rate of 4.4%
I have about 3k in S&P 500
I have about 2K in VOO
I have about 6K just sitting in my bank savings account.
Anything I’m doing wrong? Any advice? I don’t want to be super aggressive or anything, but I don‘t want to wake up years later in a terrible position and I feel like anxiety about how much longer my career will last.
