Hello everyone,
Thank you everyone who always post and contribute to this subreddit. I have learned quite a bit for the last couple of weeks. I've been trying to get into the world of investing, but I want to be able to invest daily weekly and not sell for a very long time. The biggest problem/barrier is that I haven't find the "perfect" platform to invest long term. I have tried a few platforms/brokers to find the one I want to use long term.
I love Robinhood but it doesn't feel serious enough to put my money. Something feels sketchy but everything is super easy to do, including even using my debit card to deposit. I love Schwab and so far, my favorite, but it doesn't allow fractional shared for me to be able to invest in VOO, VXUS and maybe SCHD? I know there is a VOO equivalent for Schwab MF that I can invest dollar amount but not sure about MF vs ETF. SoFi feels like they want me to enroll to all their products and the app is very personal loans in your face, which I'm not interested. Tried Vanguard as well and it's like way too simple? Had a bad experience with Fidelity in the past.
I guess my main question is, how did you all choose the platform to start investing? Hopefully that will give me some guidance to choose mine. I would like to have only 1.
Thanks again and happy new year everyone.
