Industrial AI automation scaling, demand strong
Roland Busch argued industrial AI is moving from advice to autonomous action on the shopfloor, and factories need to become digital, automated and AI-supercharged to address skilled-labor shortages and improve yield and energy use. Siemens AI automation demand exceeds supply
Roland Busch said Siemens's AI industrial operating system is already working and scaling, and the partnership with Nvidia will accelerate Siemens's software and simulation tools while integrating physical and agentic AI into factory automation. He said labor shortages, yield and energy benefits are driving demand, Siemens has a nearly $30 billion software portfolio and may do more software M&A, and its business is growing so fast it cannot keep up with customer demand.
Vera Rubin demand strong, efficiency improves
Jensen Huang highlighted Nvidia's new Vera Rubin platform as 10x more energy-efficient and cost-efficient than the prior generation, with strong customer demand. He said Nvidia works with all three memory suppliers and has supply planned despite a severe memory bottleneck, and that Chinese customers are showing strong demand for H200 if allowed. He also argued that energy efficiency directly improves AI factory economics for customers, reinforcing Nvidia's position.
Physical AI robotics breakthroughs coming
Jensen Huang said physical AI can make robotic systems easier to teach and deploy, and the ChatGPT moment for robotics is here. He expects big breakthroughs over the next three years as robots become more autonomous and factories orchestrate robots.
AI growth requires more energy investment
Jensen Huang said AI and every industrial revolution will be energy-constrained, and the U.S. and world need more energy. He argued we must invest in all forms of energy and make whatever energy we have as efficient as possible.
Power equipment demand exceeds supply
Roland Busch said data-center and AI electricity demand is creating bottlenecks across the power supply chain, with huge demand for turbines and transformers. Energy demand is scaling with GDP, data centers need high-quality power, and Siemens's business is growing so fast it cannot keep up with customer demand.
Tesla leads autonomous driving stack
Jensen Huang said Tesla's stack is the most advanced in the world and Tesla's autonomous-driving operations are the most advanced, with an end-to-end AI approach similar to Nvidia's. He called it state-of-the-art in autonomous driving and robotics and said he would encourage Tesla to continue.
Chip demand continues to expand
Michael Shepard said both Nvidia and AMD are making the case that compute demand is unlimited, driven not only by AI but also by broader business data processing and industrial applications. He said this supports more demand for their chips.
Less cooling needed pressures cooling stocks
Michael Shepard noted cooling stocks are moving lower because Nvidia's new chips, including Vera Rubin, are designed to require less cooling. As AI chips become more energy- and cooling-efficient, data-center cooling demand could face headwinds.
