Chevron grows cash flow despite lower oil.
Chevron delivered a record 2025 with adjusted free cash flow up 35% even as oil prices fell 15%, helped by worldwide and US production records, the highest US refinery throughput since the 1990s, cost reductions, and AI-driven efficiency. It returned a record $27 billion to shareholders, raised the dividend 4% for a 39th straight year, and offers a yield about three times the S&P 500. The company expects continued free cash flow growth from a diversified portfolio including Hess, Kazakhstan, the Permian, and the Gulf of America.

Hyperscalers drive natural gas power demand.
Chevron is talking with all hyperscalers about power supply and they are very interested in a West Texas project. Chevron produces 3 billion cubic feet per day in the US, has secured seven large turbines with delivery dates, and is in permitting and engineering on a purpose-built, non-grid-connected energy park that can scale alongside data center growth without raising consumer power prices. Chevron expects to announce more later this year.
