Ideas
Tim Seymour Seymour Asset Management, Fast Money Trader 0:23
Apple quarter strong; stock should be higher.
Tim Seymour said Apple is now the perfect AI story because, unlike hyperscalers, it did not spend hundreds of billions training models but has a 2 billion-user installed base that is largely consumer. He thinks hyperscalers and OpenAI will monetize through the enterprise, leaving Apple positioned as one of the first huge consumer AI success stories. He said any deal Apple does with OpenAI or Google Gemini will be great, though investors need to see what Apple rolls out.
Karen Finerman CEO, Metropolitan Capital Advisors; Fast Money trader 1:25
No reason to sell Apple.
Karen Finerman said China's easy comparison is helping Apple, and the setup into the June quarter with Apple Intelligence and revamped Siri could extend the upgrade cycle. She pointed to Apple's large installed base and people already upgrading to the latest phones. She sees no reason to sell and is surprised the stock is only up 1%, calling it an amazing quarter.
Guy Adami Trader 2:56
Apple upgrade cycle still has room.
Guy Adami said Tim Cook's lack of comment on memory could be a concern, but if memory is an issue for Apple it is an issue for everyone else, and Apple has negotiating power. He still sees room left in the upgrade cycle, and a big revenue beat usually leads to good things. He said investors need to listen to the earnings call for nuance.
