Heavy-sour refiners benefit from Venezuelan crude
Refiners that can process Venezuela's heavy sour crude should benefit as those previously sanctioned barrels are rerouted to U.S. and Western refiners. Not many refineries can accommodate heavy sour crude, and the market already showed Valero popping, Marathon Petroleum higher, and Phillips 66 moving to a lesser extent; other refiners with similar capacity could also be beneficiaries.
