Non-USD stablecoins such as JPYC have almost no global traction because stablecoin issuance does not create offshore demand that the underlying fiat does not already have. Non-USD stablecoins are only about 0.3% of total stablecoin issuance, so yen stablecoins should not be treated as global dollar challengers; their realistic use is domestic and internal, not international.
