US allows Korean yards build warships
Trump reportedly approved allowing Korean shipbuilders investing in US facilities to build up to two warships in Korea. Because US shipbuilding capacity is not yet ready, this gives Korean yards bridge work and about five years of time while US operations ramp up, which is viewed as clearly positive for Korean shipbuilders, especially Hanwha.
