JSW Steel posted better-than-expected quarterly results driven by strong Indian steel demand growth of 7-9%, sustainable domestic prices, declining raw material costs (coal and iron ore), increased volumes from blast furnace restart, and cost efficiencies from greater domestic coal usage. The company is on track to expand capacity to 62 million tons in India by 2032.
