[+5] u/desperato61: Ai is in the pay per minute years for the internet. Anyone around then remembers how expensive it was to use the internet until the arrival of cable modems. These ai companies have gotten high and drunk on token spending, but companies have started to realize how expensive ai is to just use without any restraints and are now shifting to it as a complementary tool. It will be Interesting to see how this changes all these spending deals that have been made if the profit from token spending starts to slip, the disruption was always going to be another company doing it cheaper
