Diversifying GOOG?
I have been working at Google for many years now so I have a lot of RSU/stocks at Google (never touched it). That makes up \~70% of my investments. Rest is in index fund strategy and alternative investments. Question I have is - what can I do with the Google stocks, if at all. I know there will be a lot of opinions so just trying to gauge what are my options and what are the trade offs. So far, I have
* Sell and diversify (index funds) - immediate huge capital loss but risk is lowered
* Keep as is - if I believe Google will stay strong - risky (but not a lot TBH)
* Put into exchange fund - diversify but locked in for many years
* Cover call, sell call - I don't understand these... Any other good ideas?
* Also what about the new Google stocks that periodically vests for me? Is it a good idea to automatically sell those, just for diversification? (since there would be no loss on selling)
