I'm a "Wall Street analyst" at one of the well-known investment banks
\*With the exception I work in London and not on Wall Street.
Officially, I am a sell-side equity research analyst (what press sometimes calls "Wall Street analyst") for one of the well-known investment banks. I don't really have much in the way of proof but I guess... trust me?
I don't see what I do as particularly secretive but there are all sorts of (usually wrong) stereotypes and ideas out there about what we do and why. And I often see all sorts of wrong assertations in this sub.
Curious if anyone has any questions on what we actually do and why. Apart from doxxing myself in any way, I'm willing to be fairly open.
