Anyone ever short shares after-hours to hedge an ITM put assignment?
Sold a SOXL $103 put for $1. It expired ITM and Robinhood shows assignment pending.
SOXL is $102.68 after-hours. I’m thinking of shorting 100 shares for each contract now so the 100 shares I get assigned at $103 automatically cover the short.
Any reason this may not work?
