$5,790 projected annual income run rate — aiming for $6,000 by year-end
I recently reached a projected annual income run rate of **$5,790**, and I’m aiming for $6,000 before year-end.
My portfolio includes QQQI, GPIQ, MO, MSFT, GOOG, MCD, META, LEN, NKE, KMB, O, and VICI. The important caveat: QQQI and GPIQ make up a little over 50**%** of the portfolio, so this income is heavily concentrated and the distributions are not guaranteed.
I enjoy seeing the income grow, but I’m now thinking more about diversification and long-term durability. For new contributions, I’m considering putting less into QQQI/GPIQ and gradually building the individual dividend-growth positions instead.
For those with income-focused portfolios: how would you balance current cash flow against concentration risk and long-term dividend growth?
