Retirees spent their lives saving. Now they're afraid to spend
I believe this is the single most under-appreciated in all of personal finance. People are unable to spend, and die with millions unspent, after a life time of skimping. I feel this is also my fate, I can't spend on anything without a battle in my head, sometimes for weeks or months.
