Looking for small cap stocks with realistic 10x potential over a 5-year horizon
I'm planning to allocate $30K into 2-3 small-cap positions (roughly $10K each) that I'd buy and hold with minimal intervention for the next 5 years essentially a long-term, hands-off experiment.
Rather than just asking for tickers, I'd love to hear your reasoning: What criteria do you use to identify small-caps with genuine 10x potential (revenue growth trajectory, TAM expansion, moat, insider ownership, catalysts, etc.)?
If you have specific names in mind, I'm especially interested in why you think they could get there sector tailwinds, competitive positioning, balance sheet strength, or anything else that supports the thesis.
Also open to hearing counterarguments or risks I should be weighing before committing capital this way.
