Markets are down 8-9% last 2 years, i am down 2%. Did i make 6% profit 😢

Markets are down 8-9% last 2 years, i am down 2%. Did i make 6% profit 😢 September 2024 to september 2026 market is down 7-10% ( depending on exact dates) My stock portfolio with all the investments in last 2 years is down by 2%. I am now confused if it is a good thing or a bad thing. \-2% in 2 years means i lost 20-25% of value in the 2 years (time adjusted).
