My mistake when investing
I should have used a rotation strategy with a bunch of stocks instead of putting a bulk of my capital into one stock. The day I bought it, the next 3 days it dropped 15%, and my blood pressure rose significantly. When I look at the chart, the stock is trading in a tight band with a 5% variance and slow change over the past 3 years. Lesson learned. Thankfully, the stock has risen by 10% back—what a roller coaster ride. My biggest agony is that other people are buying at a much lower per-unit price. I did catch the falling knife, however, it is only like 10% of the stock, so it had little impact
Lesson learnt Don't put all my eggs into one basket. Select a bunch of stocks. Deploy in tranches. Don't trade in foreign currency if possible.
