Support Canadian options exchange?
One of the major issues of the Canadian options market is liquidity, with many Canadians preferring to trade American options even when there is a Canadian alternative.
With the current American regime becoming increasingly hostile towards Canada, do you think there is a way to better support the Canadian options market or find ways to encourage people to trade there instead of the US equivalent?
I like to have some LEAPS in my portfolio and I would love to buy Canadian options instead of going through the American market as much as possible, but only a handful of Canadian stocks or ETFs that have even a decent liquidity.
