3 Mutual Funds for 10 Years — Good or Bad?
I’m pretty new to mutual funds and trying to build a simple long-term portfolio.
Right now I’m considering:
\* ICICI Prudential Multi-Asset Fund – Direct Growth
\* Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund – Direct Growth
\* HDFC Mid Cap Fund – Direct Growth
My investment horizon is 10+ years and my goal is mainly long-term wealth creation.
My risk tolerance is moderate to moderately high. I’m okay with market ups and downs and temporary losses, but I don’t want to take unnecessary or extreme risk.
I’m planning to invest regularly rather than trying to time the market.
My thinking is:
\* ICICI Multi-Asset for some stability/diversification
\* Parag Parikh as the core equity fund
\* HDFC Mid Cap for higher growth potential
Do these 3 make sense together, or is there too much overlap?
Would you replace any of them, and how would you split the allocation between these funds?
Open to other suggestions as well.
