During next big crash, should I buy LEAP Calls or sell Cash Secured Puts?

My theory is that markets almost always make a quick rebound after market crashes. According to ChatGPT, there has been 0 cases where the S&P 500 dropped 20% and did not go up a least 10% in the next 18 months (from the point of the initial 20% decline). To take advantage of a high likely quick rebound, I am considering either 1) buying call options 1.5 years out and 5-10% OTM, or 2) selling cash secured puts 1.5 years out with 5-10% OTM. If I buy the leap call options, there is a potential that I lose all my premium if the market does not rebound as much as I expected it to. But if it does recover I can easily double or triple my money. Alternatively, for cash secured puts, the returns would be lower. The max you would make would be 1x your money. However, since I will probably close out the position early, my return will be well less than that (maybe 70% return?). As well to note, that I would probably feel safer selling cash secured puts. For example, if I sold OTM puts, and the market doesn't rebound and instead stays flat, the most I would lose would be the difference between the strike and current index price minus the premium I received. Which to me seems a lot safer than the leap calls where I can lose 100% of my premium
