$VIPZ Releases New Investor Deck in 8-K After Eight Months of Silence I’ve been following VIPZ pretty closely for a while and wanted to post an update because we finally have something substantial to look at after a very quiet eight months. On September 4, VIP Play filed an 8-K containing a new investor presentation. What makes this more interesting to me than simply posting a new deck on the company website is the reason they filed it. The 8-K says management intends to use the presentation in meetings with current and potential investors as part of a **non-deal roadshow**. In other words, they appear to be starting to actively tell the new VIPZ story to investors. For some context, the last major company update was back in January. At that point, management laid out what was essentially a major transformation of the business. The original VIP Play strategy was much more heavily centered around traditional sportsbook and gambling operations. The problem is that competing directly with major sportsbook operators requires enormous customer acquisition spending, state-by-state licensing, compliance infrastructure and significant capital. Management’s answer was to broaden the company into an AI-driven sports entertainment and fan engagement platform, with more emphasis on products such as daily fantasy sports, skill-based gaming and event/fan engagement. At the time, those were largely plans. Eight months later, this deck gives us our first substantial look at what they have actually been working on. **A few things stand out to me:** The products and strategy in the deck line up remarkably well with the direction management announced in January. This doesn’t look like another random OTC pivot six months later. They appear to have spent the quiet period actually building around the strategy they previously laid out. The company is increasingly positioning itself around **sports engagement rather than simply sports betting**. I think that’s an important distinction. They’re pursuing ways to monetize fan participation and engagement without having every product dependent upon the expensive regulatory and customer acquisition structure of a traditional sportsbook. Daily Fantasy Sports and skill-based gaming fit naturally into that strategy. VIPZ previously discussed these as markets that could potentially be entered with substantially less regulatory burden than expanding a traditional sportsbook state by state. The AI/event engagement side may ultimately be the most interesting part. The company seems to be trying to build an ecosystem around sporting events where AI, games, predictions, fantasy, contests and other interactive experiences can turn spectators into active participants. Take a look at the management and board backgrounds in the deck. For a company of this size trading on the OTCQB, this is not the type of leadership roster I normally expect to see. There is some serious experience represented there. Another thing I’ve continued watching is the stock itself. VIPZ has been incredibly illiquid. There are days with essentially no trading at all. Normally with tiny OTC companies, months of silence combined with virtually no volume can result in the stock slowly getting walked down. That really hasn’t happened here. Despite approximately eight months without meaningful company news, the stock has remained remarkably stable. That doesn’t guarantee anything about where the price goes next, but I find it interesting. There simply hasn’t been much stock available or much apparent urgency among existing holders to sell. The obvious downside of that situation is liquidity. VIPZ currently has very little of it. If you want to buy or sell a meaningful position, that matters. The interesting question now is whether that changes. The company didn’t just release this presentation. It filed an 8-K stating that management intends to use it in a **non-deal roadshow with current and potential investors**. That is the first real indication I’ve seen in quite some time that VIPZ is moving from the rebuilding phase toward actively presenting the transformed company to the investment community. I don’t know whether they ultimately execute. I don’t know what the stock will do. And an investor presentation is obviously management presenting the company in the best possible light. But I’ve followed the story through the transition, and the sequence makes sense to me: January: explain the new strategy. Next eight months: very little promotion while apparently building it. September: show the products and broader business strategy and begin taking that story to investors. For an OTC company, I’d much rather see eight months spent quietly building followed by something tangible than eight months of promotional PRs with nothing underneath them. We’ll see where it goes from here, but this is probably the most interesting VIPZ development I’ve seen since I started following the company.
