Is voo etf worth it as a Canadian investing?
Im in Canada and investing through Wealthsimple, I’m new to investing and I’ve just started out with Voo so far. I’ve been reading that this etf is highly recommended for persons just starting out but I’m realizing the conversion rates will negatively impact long term growth as using voo in a tfsa would still incur the 15% dividend withholding tax. Im just curious is it still worth making monthly investments in this etf? My goal is to use dollar cost averaging to buy shares on a monthly basis for long term retirement funding. Also is it better to market buy or limit buy when buying shares. Again I’m new to this so I’m looking forward to hearing any advice or recommendations. Thank you!
