When to sell stocks (read post)

When to sell stocks (read post) On my first trade I doubled my starting position. I was wondering what is the standard tactic? Should I sell half or sell my whole position? Please advise me on trimming/selling. My first position was 5k to 10k. So please advise me a lot. (I wish to avoid the overconfidence bias and ask for advice.) Any further reading would help me greatly.
