Pay several hundred dollars for a glorified paper account with rules to get real funding designed to make sure no one hits them so they can make their money on the fees they collect from naive traders and don’t have to end up making any actual payouts.
It makes absolutely zero sense to make people pay for a paper account. If they really wanted to attract good traders, they would have no problem giving traders free access to a simulated account, and if they pass the eval then, then letting them trade real funds for a fee.
