The CRWV CEO, Mike Intrator, spent >30 minutes clearly reading straight from a blatantly obvious LLM-written script on yesterday’s earnings call.
Overall, earnings calls have become entirely unbearable to listen to anymore… it’s like a challenge where they test themselves to see how much fluff and buzzwords the CEO can possibly squeeze into one call by robotically reading from a transcript. You could literally use them to play a game of bingo where the boards are ai buzzwords about how much demand there is. Or a drinking game where you take a shot every time a buzzword from a list is said.
Of course the goal of this is to trigger the algos to pump the stock positively. These calls are no longer conducted for the purpose of providing information to human shareholders anymore… the CEOs are literally just speaking directly to a bunch of algorithms.
They should just make the press releases more detailed and shorten the calls to just include guidance plus Q&A.
