Bought 60k worth of QQQ LEAPS and 20k worth of DRAM LEAPS

Hello again, Reddit. About a year ago, I made a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/options/comments/1jt2lqd/bought_30k_worth_of_qqq_leaps/?share_id=3ZkFub2rPLhcYMYx3g2FM&utm_content=2&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1) saying I had bought QQQ LEAPS. Most people laughed. Fast forward to today: it's been a pretty good year. Not just because of those LEAPS. I also made a significant amount of money capturing the variance risk premium in a few special situations (mostly in /ZB). Honestly, some of the easiest trades I've ever found. Maybe one day I'll start a newsletter and share the research behind them. We'll see. Anyway, the reason I'm posting again is because this setup feels similar to last year. I'm not going to throw a wall of charts or complicated jargon at you. My thesis is actually very simple: A 10% drawdown in QQQ is completely normal. It happens. The companies in this index are printing cash and, in many cases, growing faster than ever. AI isn't going away. If anything, adoption is accelerating and the technology keeps improving month after month. After such an incredible run, a 40% drawdown in semis and chips isn't shocking. The thing to understand here is that AI has fundamentally changed the demand profile for advanced chips, making current valuations look much more attractive than the headlines suggest. Current positions: QQQ $750 Call — June 16, 2028 DRAM $70 Call — December 17, 2027 I'll sell QQQ around $800 and DRAM around $90. See you again in a few months!
