$AMD just locked up 2 GIGAWATTS of AI demand from Anthropic. This is huge!

Just dropped: AMD and Anthropic (the company behind Claude) signed a deal for up to 2 gigawatts of AMD's new MI450 GPUs, deploying starting H1 2027. AMD is also putting up to $5B into Anthropic, tied to deployment milestones. Why this matters: * Anthropic already uses AMD chips (MI355X), this is an EXPANSION, not a first date * AMD now has gigawatt-scale deals with OpenAI, Meta, AND Anthropic * Stock is moving on the news * This is real infrastructure, not vaporware, full rack-scale systems (Helios) with CPUs, networking, and software included AMD is proving it can go head-to-head with Nvidia for the biggest AI labs on the planet.
