Doing a comparison here - the largest battery maker CATL - brought in 60 billion of revenue in 2025. Pure AI end service revenue (meaning not the intermediate pick and shovel people, only pure AI end product subscription revenue) was estimated to be (because tech refuses to line item it on earnings) between 60-100 billion. If we take the entire battery industries revenue, the number goes up to over 150 billion
CATL has a market cap of 250 billion. AI has a market cap in the trillions. I used Google AI to get these numbers.
There's a gross misappropriation of capital towards tech that's ACTUALLY going to change the future.
