Kroger's Current stock price is 54.5 per share. Kroger is down 14% this year. Revenue went up 2.2% and profits margin went up 2.08%. they did miss their current quarterly earnings estimate by .83% but they did beat the prior 3 quarters.
Kroger has bought giant eagle for 1.6 billion dollars. The stores will still carry the giant eagle name. Giant Eagle had over 2000 stores as of the merger. One asset of Giant eagle is that they tend to house State Liquor Stores. The deal is expected to close early 2027.
