I’ve been using the Thinkorswim platform for the past 10 years, and today I decided to experiment with Interactive Brokers. It’s awful. During After Hours trading, when you try to buy or sell, the bid and ask numbers disappear as soon as you click the buy or sell buttons. How are you supposed to trade if you can’t even see the bid/ask?
On Thinkorswim, you can select a limit order and the price field updates dynamically with the current bid or ask. In my opinion, Thinkorswim is far superior.
Has anyone here used both platforms?
