I'm up over 100% on my semi etf which excludes the major memory players. Feeling the fomo on DRAM. From what I gather, memory is cyclical and you don't buy cyclical stocks at the highs. A lot of sources say there's still room for growth in this cycle, others are skeptical and foresee a pretty big correction, imminently.
I'd like to get in on DRAM as a long term investor, but want to do it in a reasonable way. My tentative plan is to sell up to half of my semi etf and buy DRAM on a draw down or its' cyclical downturn.
Would like some input on this plan, specifically as a long term/ hold investor. Should I even wait for a downturn? Am I better off just holding my semi etf?
