Got my equity strategy running cleanly through an agent. Signals, sizing, execution all working. Now trying to move to options and it's a whole different problem.
Four things I can't get right:
1. Greeks freshness. Polling delta every few seconds via REST and by the time the agent sizes anything the numbers are already off.
2. Options chain volume. Streaming the full chain to the agent reliably is harder than I expected.
3. Conditional orders. Most brokers only support market and limit natively through the API. Anything more complex you have to fake in app logic.
4. Multi-leg spreads. Can you send both legs as one API call or are you manually legging in and hoping for the best?
Anyone actually running options through an agent in production? What are you using?
