Pakistan brokered a deal. Trump agreed to suspend all bombing for two weeks while a peace agreement is finalized.
Iran agreed to a complete and immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says he received a 10 point proposal from Iran and calls it a "workable basis to negotiate."
Now he's posting about "World Peace," reconstruction, and calling this the "Golden Age of the Middle East."
Market reaction has been historic. Brent crude crashed 16% to around $92, the biggest single day oil drop since the 1991 Gulf War. S&P futures up over 2%. Nikkei up 5%. Gas prices expected to fall below $4 a gallon within two weeks.
Does this ceasefire hold or are we back to threats in 14 days?
