Stopped gambling on breakouts when I started using quality filters. Waited for the OK and grabbed +$400

The core idea is straightforward. Every session prints its own 15-minute opening range. London, New York and Asia each give you a high and a low. Those levels don't disappear when the session ends. They stay on your chart as reference points for the rest of the day.
I only trade setups that interact with one of those levels. Everything else I ignore.
**1) Map the levels before the session opens** The indicator draws the ORB High and Low automatically for each session. London opens first, then New York, then Asia overnight. Prior session levels stay visible. A London level is still relevant two hours into the New York session.
**2) Let the range build, then wait for the close** The first 15 minutes are off limits. Once the range locks, I wait for a 5m close beyond the high or low. A wick through doesn't count. The close is what matters.
**3) Don't enter on the break, enter on the retest** After the break I step back. Price almost always comes back to test the broken level. That retest is my entry zone. Chasing the initial move is how you get stopped out.
**4) Use the filters to size your conviction** Before entering I check the filter results. All green means I expect follow-through and I enter aggressively. Multiple fails means I either wait for a deeper pullback or skip it entirely.
**5) When the filters fail, consider the flip** A breakout with weak filter confirmation often rejects. Instead of ignoring it I watch for price to stall and reverse. The opposite side of the ORB becomes the target. I call this the reverse ORB and it works more often than you'd think.
**6) Know your stop before you click** Stop goes just beyond the retest wick. First target is the nearest prior session level. If I don't know my stop before I enter, I don't take the trade.
I only trade London and New York sessions. Outside those windows I stay flat.
The [indicator ](https://www.tradingview.com/script/fcmuXi8U-ORB-Sessions-15m-LO-NY-AS-FlowForge/)handles the session tracking, break detection and filter scoring automatically. My only job is to read what it gives me and not override the rules.
