I’ve been saving up money for a few years and I have at least 20,000 I want to put in the market at some point, looking for some help.

Made some bad investment choices earlier on and decided to drop investing for a while. Fast forward to a few years ago and I started saving up money. I want to get back into investing, but the market seems very unpredictable at the moment. I understand all the people who say time in the market beats timing the market, but I’ve also heard that it’s a very good time to wait and be careful because of all the crisis going on with wars and what not. What is some good advice for someone wanting to get back into investing in a time like this?
Any suggestions on people to listen to or where to go from here. I’d also like to start learning and being able to read charts.
