Summary
The author is providing a one-week update on a live-tested market regime detection model. The model aims to predict both the market's directional movement (up/down) and its character (e.g., trending, mean-reverting).
The author's initial finding is that after one week of live data, the model's "Directional Accuracy" is performing better than its "Character Accuracy," contrary to what might have been expected from backtesting.
Quality assessment: This is a technical analysis post focused on the performance of a specific algorithmic model. It is not fundamental due diligence (DD) on any particular asset but rather a meta-analysis of a trading strategy. It is speculative by nature as it's an unproven, personal project.

And we have first live contact. So far in these conditions Directional Accuracy is beating Character Accuracy.

I had a few suggestions from the first post - adopting GEX and also using Hurst to smooth out transitions. For now, going to let this run through all of March before any changes.
